The setup prepares WebView2 and Microsoft ODBC when needed. For the ZIP, keep datapyn-desktop.exe and datapyn-runtime.exe together; WebView2 and ODBC are prerequisites.

Apple Silicon (arm64) · macOS 14+

Open the DMG and copy DataPyn Tauri to Applications. This build is not notarized; if macOS blocks it, allow it in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Linux

x86_64 · Ubuntu 22.04+ base

Choose DEB for Ubuntu/Debian, or AppImage/tar.gz for other compatible x86_64 desktops. The DEB and tar.gz launchers prepare a user-managed installation without FUSE. SQL Server via ODBC needs the native Microsoft driver.

Development requires Node.js 22, Rust 1.90+, Python 3.12+, uv, and your platform’s native dependencies.
